Q. What demographic area do we cover?
A. Worldwide.

Q. How do you install the product?
A. Smaller barriers can be installed manually using 1 -2 persons, while larger barriers are
     best installed using a track hoe or a crane with a 6 man crew.  Please see our install
     page for more information.

Q. Do we have an install crew?
A. No, we do not have an install crew.  However, we do have install advisors available to
     come to the jobsite to advise your crew in the installation and removal of the product.

Q. What sizes do the products come in?
A. Aqua-Barriers rent in 4 ft, 6 ft, and 8 ft heights and lengths of 25 ft, 50 ft, 75 ft,
     and 100 ft.  Multiple units can be connected together to create any size work area
     you need.  You can purchase customized barriers from 1 ft in height up to 8 ft in
     height and up to 100 ft in length. WIPP barriers are made to order for specific
     size needs.  See each size chart for more details.

Q. What is our product made of?
A. The barriers are made using a vinyl coated polyester membrane with a
     scrim reinforcement for strength.  See our engineering page for more details.

Q. Can our product be used in freezing temperatures?
A. In some cases yes!  Please call our knowledgeable sales representatives for advice
    on using the product in severe cold climates.

Q. What is the maximum water depth our product will control?
A. Due to varying conditions, there is no simple answer to this question.  However, by
     rule of thumb, our products will control up to 6 ft of water and sediment combined.

Q. How long does it take to set up a barrier?
A. Installation time varies according to system size and pump source.  Approximately
     500 linear feet of 8 ft high barriers can be installed in 1 day using (2) 8 HP pumps.

Q. How do the barriers ship?
A. Small WIPP flood barriers may be shipped in a large box, while the larger
    Aqua-Barriers are shipped on 4x5 pallets via a commercial truck line.

Q. Can I use the water on site or do I have to use clean water to fill the barrier?
A. Any available water source can be used for inflating the barriers.  Complete
     instructions can be found in the User's Manual, shipped with every order.

Q. Why is 25% freeboard needed?
A. To achieve a high safety factor putting safety first.
