Understanding the Basics

  1. Surface Friction - required to stabilize the cofferdams when exposed to uneven water pressures.
  2. Freeboard (amount of inflated barrier above the water) - Aqua-Barriers™ need a minimum of 25% freeboard.
  3. Internal Baffle System - locks into place when the barrier is exposed to greater pressure on one side. Aqua-Barriers™ are the only dams on the market with this patented system.
