The 3ft high Aqua-Barrier was used during a dam removal project in North Carolina to protect an endangered species, the Appalachian Elktoe Mussel from being effected by dam debris. Check out an article about the project published in the Ashville Citizen-Times. http://www.citizen-times.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2009907290321

These are final pictures from the project in Linville, North Carolina. A combination of 8ft high and 4ft high barriers were used to divert the water during a dam rehabilitation project. The same company is currently using the Aqua Barriers on a liner repair at a waste water treatment plant. The possibilities are endless! Please contact us to find out how we can assist in your next dewatering project!

A contractor out of Lawton, Oklahoma had an dig to do in Vernal, Utah (the middle of no where). The pictures above show the installation prior to dewatering the site. Because 225 linear feet of 8ft high Aqua Barriers were installed so quickly the contractor finished the project in less than 2 weeks and has moved on to the next one!

The products of Hydro-Solutions, Inc. captured a lot of interest when TERRANOVA (www.terranovasl.com) exhibited at the GEO2 exhibition in Bilbao in Nov 2008. It was a great opportunity to establish new contacts with future clients within the environmental market in Spain as Terranova announced they are a new distributor of the water inflated dams manufactured by Hydro-Solutions.
August 2008

This project to install concrete steps into one of the small lakes at Herman Park was completed in no time with 8ft tall Aqua Barriers. There were no worries about harmful environmental impacts to wildlife habitat.

Terranova (www.terranovasl.com), distributor for Spain breaks ground in representation of Hydrological Solutions’ products. They exhibited Aqua-Barrier, WIPP, Spil-Stop and Insta-Tank at the GE02 fair to an audience with great interest. One 6' high barrier was installed up stream and another was installed down stream to create a dry workspace for bridge pier repair. The water was 1' at low tide and got up to 3.5' at high tide. The contractor installed diversion pipes to help facilitate the moving water. Because the team at Hydrological Solutions, Inc. helped the contractor prepare to deal with the tidal influence, the project went off without a hitch!
